Jakarta - Jakarta will be highlighted for its computer network hackers hacker alias, especially 300 hackers from countries in Southeast Asia. What are they?Do not get me wrong before. These hackers come to Jakarta rather than to dismantle the computer network system in Indonesia, but to attend Open Hack Day event held Yahoo!.
Indonesia became the first country in Southeast Asia who were selected Yahoo! to hold the prestigious event for the foreign hackers.
"There are more than 300 hackers who have been enrolled in the Open Hack Day, with most participants coming from several countries in ASEAN," said Michael Smith Jr., head of Yahoo! Developer Network, Southeast Asia, in a press conference at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Saturday (21/11/2009).
Open Hack Day itself will last for two days starting this Saturday until Sunday (22/11/2009) at the last conference, ballroom Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
Please note, the Open Hack Day is a regular event hosted by Yahoo! to improve the performance of their services.
In this event, Yahoo! attempt to collect some of the programmer, especially web developers to develop various applications based on the platform Yahoo!.
